3^rd European Conference on ICT for Transport Logistics (ECITL)

We are pleased to announce the 3rd European Conference on ICT for Transport Logistics (ECITL '10) on the 4th and 5th of November 2010 in Bremen. This years' conference will focus on Intelligent ICT systems and their contributions for the implementation of Green Logistics Strategies.

In continuation of the attractive locations of the 1st and 2nd conferences in Lucerne and Venice the ECITL '10 will take place in Bremen - a business centre with high logistics competence and extensive commercial relations to the whole world. Three unique historical buildings placed around the market place will host the participants of the ECITL '10. The local host for this conference will be the "Institute of Shipping Economics and Logistics" (ISL) co-located in Bremen and Bremerhaven. The event is also supported by the Ministry for Economic Affairs and Ports of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen and its Senator Martin Günthner, underlined by a personal welcome.

The event is mainly organized by the University of Applied Sciences Vorarlberg GmbH (FHV) and is supported by several independent EU funded projects (Logistics for LIFE, e-FREIGHT, EURIDICE, INTEGRITY, SMART-CM and SMARTFREIGHT) dealing with different issues in transport logistics. Together they try to establish a common exchange and cooperation platform for stakeholders and researchers in the logistics sector. The target audience includes everyone who is involved in logistics operations, e.g. logistics operators, industry, infrastructure providers and authorities.
